Vocaid (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Vocaid mobile application (“App”).

 

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

 

1. Information We Collect

 

Vocaid is designed to minimize data collection. Depending on how you use the App, we may process the following information:

 

• Voice recordings created by you within the App  

• Transcribed text generated from your recordings  

• AI-generated summaries, tasks, dates, and note organization results  

• Contact information you provide when contacting support (such as email address)  

• Basic diagnostics, crash reports, and anonymized usage data to improve app performance

 

2. How Your Information Is Used

 

We use information only to operate and improve the App, including:

 

• Recording and storing your notes locally on your device  

• Converting speech to text using Apple speech technologies  

• Processing transcripts through AI services when enabled by the user  

• Organizing notes into categories such as reminders, meetings, checklists, and map notes  

• Providing customer support  

• Improving reliability, performance, and user experience

 

3. Voice Notes and AI Processing

 

Voice recordings may be processed on-device using Apple frameworks.

 

When AI-powered features are used, transcript text and related note content may be securely transmitted to third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI) for processing in order to generate summaries, tasks, dates, titles, and related outputs.

 

We do not sell your recordings or note content.

 

4. Storage of Data

 

Your notes and app data may be stored locally on your device using Apple technologies such as SwiftData or other local storage methods.

 

If you enable Apple iCloud or device backup features, your data may also be stored through Apple services subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

 

5. Advertising and Analytics

 

Free versions of the App may display advertisements through third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob.

 

Those providers may collect limited device or usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

 

We may also receive anonymized analytics, diagnostics, or crash information to improve the App.

 

6. In-App Purchases

 

The App may offer one-time purchases, premium unlocks, or additional usage credits through Apple In-App Purchase systems.

 

Payment transactions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card information.

 

7. Data Retention

 

Data stored locally remains on your device until deleted by you.

 

If third-party AI processing is used, transmitted content is subject to the retention policies of the applicable provider.

 

Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests and maintain records.

 

8. Your Choices

 

You may:

 

• Delete notes within the App  

• Remove the App from your device  

• Disable microphone, speech recognition, location, or tracking permissions in iOS Settings  

• Contact us regarding privacy questions

 

9. Children’s Privacy

 

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

 

10. Changes to This Policy

 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
