This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application designed for organizing voice notes. We are committed to transparency and the highest standards of data security.
Data Collection and Privacy
Vocaid is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Most data processing occurs directly on your iOS device. We only collect the minimal amount of personal information necessary to offer our services, such as your email address when you contact support and anonymized usage statistics to improve app performance.
Voice Processing
Your voice notes are your own. Transcription of your recordings is handled on-device using local machine learning models. If you opt-in to advanced features that require cloud processing, your data is encrypted during transit and deleted immediately after the transcription is successfully generated.
Security and Storage
We utilize Apple’s iCloud infrastructure to sync your organized notes across your devices. This data is protected by industry-standard end-to-end encryption. Vocaid developers and staff have no access to the content of your voice notes or transcribed records stored in your private iCloud container.
Your Rights
You have the absolute right to access, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app settings. Since we do not store your recordings on our own servers, deleting the app or your notes from iCloud permanently removes that data from our visibility entirely.
